Our groups are run by qualified occupational therapists and focus on building practical skills that children need for success at home, in school, and in everyday life. From handwriting and social skills to school readiness, each group is tailored to specific age ranges and developmental needs.

Handwriting Groups
Our handwriting groups are run by qualified Occupational Therapists and are often supported by Occupational Therapy students. These sessions are held during school holidays and are designed to support children in developing essential handwriting skills in a fun, small-group environment.
Our handwriting groups focus on:
✏️ Pencil grip development
✏️ Handwriting legibility – including letter formation, sizing, spacing, and pencil pressure
✏️ Writing skills – such as idea generation, planning, sentence structure, and text type organisation
✏️ Editing and proofreading techniques

Social Skills Holiday Groups
Our Social Skills groups are run by qualified Occupational Therapists and often supported by Occupational Therapy students. These small-group sessions are held during selected school holidays and offer a supportive space for children to build confidence and connect with others.

Emotional Regulation Group
Our Emotional Regulation Groups are engaging, fun-filled sessions that focus on sensory exploration and the development of emotional regulation. Designed and led by qualified Occupational Therapists, with support from Occupational Therapy students, these sessions provide a nurturing and supportive environment. Held during select school holidays, the groups help children build their awareness of body cues and emotional regulation skills in a supportive and fun environment.

Each Emotional Regulation session is filled with engaging play both structured and unstructured that promote active participation. Sessions are thoughtfully tailored to suit specific age groups, depending on interest and demand, ensuring every child receives the right level of support and challenge in a fun, inclusive environment.

Kindergarten Readiness Program
Is your child starting school next year? Our Kindy-Readiness Groups run during the January, July and September school holidays, providing a supportive and fun environment to help children feel confident and prepared for their transition to school. Led by qualified Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists from Talk-Time speech pathology, this program supports all the foundational skills needed for a successful start to kindergarten.
Skills we focus on include:
👫 Social Skills – turn-taking, waiting, play and interaction skills
✏️ Fine Motor Skills – pencil grip, drawing, cutting
🗣️ Language Development – following instructions and building friendships
👄 Oral Motor Skills – feeding, muscle tone, and speech articulation
🏃♀️ Gross Motor Skills – balance, coordination, posture, and core strength
🌈 Sensory Processing Skills – helping children manage sensory input, self-regulate, and feel comfortable in group settings
Each session is designed to be fun, interactive, and aligned with the skills needed to thrive in a classroom setting.
